1999 Tahoe starting problems

I just had a new remanufactured 5.7 liter engine installed in my Tahoe. The old one spun rod bearing but it would still start and run. Now after the new engine is in it will start when cold, run terrible and when it gets to around 150 degrees it shuts down. It gets no spark after it shuts off. Then it has to sit for awhile before it will start again.

measure the ECT resistance...for correct temp/resistance spec...

this is suspect with I'm assuming NO DTC codes..

Thank you for the reply. I found the problem was th crank sensor. Replaced it and it runs like a champ now.

if they droped the sensor or installed/hacked the wiring this would cause this...
