95 Riv engine noise

My 95 Riv has a high pitched whirring sound coming from under the hood that sounds like its coming from the front of the supercharger or the belt area. any thoughts on what it might be? The car is now sitting and thats no fun.

Thanks for any input.

Re: 95 Riv engine noise

Best thing to do is to loosen both belts & set them aside, then check each tensioner idler pulley and all accessory drives individually. The S/C snout pulley should not have any play & should turn smooth, same applies to the alternator, water pump & PS pump.
