Yes noticed the Regal accelerates better than before (especially from a stop)
As I mentioned before the Upper Intake and Lower Intake manifold gaskets were recently replaced. Also both front and back rocker cover gaskets+egr valve done too, new coolant...

Now I know that the coolant isn't mixing with the oil anymore, thank goodness!

How is it that the car is accelerating and driving quicker than before? It wasn't an engine rebuild, but I feel better and more peace of mind that it's fixed and cruises better!

Thanks for the feedback. Good to hear that. Yeah I noticed that after I did the UIM and LIM gaskets on our '99 LS. It burns rubber easy like when it was new. Obviously coolant in the engine especially being burned in combustion is not good for performance or any possible vacuum leaks affecting the fuel injection system.
