Does anyone know the size of the turbo on the '09 ralliart? And how much boost it's running stock?
I've been scouring the net and can not seem to find out any real info exept that it's TD04 :rolleyes:

I'll see if I an pull any info off of the dealer site tomorrow. I dunno if you've driven one yet but they're ok, I was expecting a bit more myself. The Getrag 6sp is weird but very nice.

actually me and the wife bought one.
yea the TC-SST takes getting used to...kinda jerky at low speed...like in parking lots, etc. but it's a fair trade off for how it shifts when you get on it.
I asked the dealer what size turbo the first time i test drove one...his answer;
"I think it's a 4B11"
(4B11 is the engine code...:banghead:)
yea, i lost all faith in humanity right then and there. If you're trying to sell me a car you should be able to answer that kind of question...especially if your selling a car that's geared towards enthusiests.

Yea, it is truly a manual but automatically shifted and that definitely feels weird. Have you done any downshifting with it? Have you checked out how the transmission works? Also, I forgot to check the past couple days lol But I will.

seems to downshift pretty nicely...havn't gotten too aggressive, since you're not supposed to rev it past 5k for the break-in period. I've actally been trying not to rev it past 4 jus tto be safe and make sure it gets broken in properly. Plan to keep this one a while. As soon as the warranty expires, 16G TD05 baby! :icon16:

Gotta be careful on this new engine, the timing belt will stretch under constant heavy load. I know on the Evo, it will set a CEL when it is about 60% stretched and if you let it go too long it will damage the block. I'll have to look in my Evo book again.

they have a timing chain now apperently...dont know when they swtiched or if it's on all the 4B11s, but i am sure this one has it.
I think it needs to be tightened at 60k...i'll have to look in the manual again.

My bad, I meant to say chain, so just replace belt with chain and the same thing holds true lol And the code it will set is a P0012
