Hey everyone,

My 1995 Corolla will not start if it rains, it turns over, it just won't start? Once it drys...it starts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Usually means bad plug wires.spray wires with water while cars running and look and listen for blue spark jumping to block.

Thanks.

As soon as it drys out I'll do the test.

I just pulled off the distributor cap to inspect it...I didn't see anything that looked questionable. It was dry inside, no cracks.

OK...the rain stopped, the car is dry and is running fine. Tonight I did the test and did not see any blue spark or arcing, but Man, did I get zapped when I began drying the water off of the Dis. Cap. Holy cow!!! Is that supposed to happen?

Thanks so much for all of the help...

I replaced the plugs, wires, cap & rotor...Problem solved! The car runs great...rain or shine.

Thanks again!
