i will never adjust valve clearance on a 88 pickup again.

I had to do this in shop. the exhaust side was easy to adjust but since the intake is right there on the intake rocker arms hard as heck. any other hard things that deal with valve clearance i have to know about.

So im sitting there finishing up this job on this.... I go to get a battery pack since the battery was like super close to being dead. i wanted to check where the positive was. i checked and I seen the negative sign(minus) so i put the negative on that side. then the positive on the other. Took the key out my pocket then all of a sudden I was arch welding the terminal. I whipped the cable off to realize that i put the negative on the positive. Im hoping the PCM and ECM are ok and not fried. if the alternator is that'll be easy but since the PCM's can run a couple hundred the dude is not going to want to replace it all..... I felt so retarded.. This is what i was doing in my mind:head shake:l oser:
