34.99 USD to ship one kit from California to Canada

WTF?!?!?!?!?

I was looking at ehobbies.com and I'm all happy because I found one kit I want and it's not sold out.

So I fill out the form and when it's time to choose shipping, the cheapest one available to canada is 34.99$ At that price, they will kiss my ass, I can get something out of japan for a fraction of that price!!!! Shit, this is twice as much as the kit itself...

Did I miss something or what? Anyone from canada ever ordered something from them?

I've noticed that with some other items as well. Shipping from US to Canada seems ridiculously expensive, for some very strange reason that I do not understand. I was looking at Playstation games from electronics boutique's web store... $10 for the game... good. $17 to ship. WTF?
