look what i found...

it says it has a carbon fiber hood for our cars, but doesnt say what year. is this for real?

yes but fiber images only makes one for the p11. p10 is still in construction.

Fiber Images has said the p10 carbon fiber hood will be soon available for well over ayear now! this is geting to b one long wait!

he has no price posted for the g20. I think his price is $500 shipped. Only the civic's and integras are $450 shipped.

Well, they've had a hood since about the middle-end of April I believe, it's been so long I forget. I wouldn't hold your breath on a p10 hood, I did, but just about passed out like 6 months ago

Is it really necessary to have the hood pins? It's not as if your going to do a quick oil change at the gas station, it seems that it would be just easier for people to screw around with your car. That is unless it's a racecar!!!!

If you dont want your hood flyin off or going up into your windshild... yes you need hood pins. Its ither that or you tape the carbon fiber hood to your car. Hehehehehe

Umm.. it's my understanding that the fiber images hoods use the stock latch points and stuff to latch the hood shut, and no hood pins are required? Don't know about all the other ones though.

well, if you try driving the car at fast speeds you can hear the hood rattle. i dont think normal hood latches can withstand that much pressure against something so light.
