Question thoughts on taco s/c?

I'd like to put the TRD s/c on my Taco's 2.7L I4. I know it claims to add just over what the V6 produces hp-wise, so I can't imagine it would be any different than dropping a V into the truck as far as stress downstream of the crank. But I'd be worried that it would decrease the lifetime of the engine.

Any thoughts on what kind of accellerated stress/wear it causes?
