Should I buy a Ranger??

Been thinking about buying a Ranger pick-up lately. Was thinking late 1990's or early 2000's. Has to have an extended cab and four wheel drive. Would like a standard transmission, too. Finally, would prefer the Warn hubs and not a button on the dash for the four wheel drive.

Not overly concerned about horsepower or even fuel economy as it wouldn't see too many kilometres as a second vehicle.

Any thoughts? Recommendations? Things to watch out for?

Thanks!

Rangers are as solid and dependable as any small truck made. I personally think the 4.0 ltr engine is the better of the 2 offerings. If you find a used truck that has been taken care of it will probably be a good second vehicle
