Fibreglass bodykits vs. Urethane (stock) bodykits

Dear All,

Thinking of purchasing a replica bodykit (made of fibreglass). Would anyone be able to advise on the reliability/durability of such a make vs the original urethane model? Am I looking at smashing it and having to replace the whole thing?

Thanks a million

Nick

bodykits

Bro, seriously, all body kits are the same. But the truth is, fiberglass body kits might need some minor adjustments to make it fit perfectly. As far as cracking, any bodykit will crack. If you hit it, it will crack. I do not know how much more durable urethane is, but I can tell you I had a urethane m3 front bumper, hit the curb and it cracked, now I have a fiberglass m3 front bumper, and its the same, no cracks yet, I've had it for over 2 years. Ok, well if you are interested in a bodykit, I have the new 2001 M3 bodykit for the e36. Same as the regular m3 bodykit as far as sideskirts and back bumper; however, the front is different; the front is identical to the new m3 front bumper, making your car extremely unique. I am selling it for only 1000$ for everything, this bodykit is fiberglass, and comes primed. If you make a deposit now, I'll throw in a pair of m3 mirrors. Email me at rono6uy869@cs.com if intersted, take care.
