Lancer Evo3 modificationslancetastic 02-07-2009, 07:36 PM Hey there, I have a '95 Evo3, fully rebuilt and forged. I'm planning on keeping it as a daily driver but with more than factory power. I have an evolink gen3 ecu and walbro 255 pump+FPR. Question: do I need larger injectors to crank 25psi thru the factory td05-16g? Or are factory enough for what I want Cheers :) 3S Motorsports 02-20-2009, 11:02 AM Hey there, I have a '95 Evo3, fully rebuilt and forged. You might want to consider going with bigger injectors anyway for safety and possible future mods. Good luck -Steve azntech630 02-23-2009, 11:32 PM u can get a bigger injector or lower the boost because for a daily driver with that amount of boost is not good. U will have drivability problems in the future. If u get a bigger injectors ur fuel economy will go down and ur cat won't take a lot of unburn fuel. 3S Motorsports 02-24-2009, 11:24 AM u can get a bigger injector or lower the boost because for a daily driver with that amount of boost is not good. With bigger injectors and a proper tune, you will get the same or better gas mileage with no ill effects whatsoever. -Steve Acebankai 03-10-2009, 01:15 AM so do you actually have an evo 3 or did you convert from a 95 mirage into an evo 3? But you should just get bigger injectors... think of the future. you might want to mod something else and its better to have it done now then have to do it later. especially with gas prices right now. lancetastic 03-24-2009, 02:11 AM Hey there, yup I have a genuine evo3. I've decided to go with sard 700cc injectors. Thanks for the advice guys. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
