96 voyager/horn wont work in cold weatherAdasm 02-04-2009, 11:33 PM what could the problem possibly be? it's a standard model 96 voyager and as soon as we get these nice canadian, -10 and below temperatures, the horn stops working...any ideas? RIP 02-05-2009, 01:06 AM Horn switch, relay, or wiring. Minimal chance it's both horn units or the clockspring. Clockspring? It's a coil of ribbon wire behind the horn switch pad that lets all the controls in the steering wheel maintain contact with their circuits by uncoiling and recoiling as you turn the steering wheel. I'd bet on the relay. It's on the Junction Block (fuse panel) behind the lower left dash. Next time the horn dies, tap on the relay. Adasm 02-06-2009, 10:34 AM i will check the relay...because, when I hit the horn, I can hear a clicking in the lower left section of the dash...so, something is trying to work, but just isnt labmik 02-06-2009, 10:39 PM good day had the same problem with my van . change the horn , and your van will be o.k . you can get one for as low as $ 20 vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
