Ever since i bought this truck, the left turn signal has been acting up. First it was sticking, then it wouldn't work when i was pressing on the break, only when the break was released.

Last week, the turn signals and Hazard lights failed completely. No lights on the dashboard, no clicking sound when i turn the lever for the flashers. The lever does release when i am coming out of a turn as it should.

I already checked the fuses and that wasn't it. (I wish!!!) Should my next step be to change the flasher cube or the relay?

Thanks for any advice, I'm slowly learning about my truck, but most garages and mechanics don't take me seriously as a girl

Does the vehicle have a trailer lights hook-up in the rear ?
Check this for moisture, corrosion, etc. Sometimes this will cause some wierd electrical problems.

Pull the left side turn signal bulb and check the socket for corrosion.

According to my wiring diagram the hazard switch is an intergal part of the multi-function switch, which could be another culprit.

I am not sure of your experience level but if you want to try and troubleshoot the switch let me know and I will pm you a wiring diagram with instructions.

Hope this helps.
