I've got a 1965 chevy 292 and i want to know the stock cam specs so i can tell whether the cam needs replacing or not

I'm not sure of the specs but typically, I judge a cam's wear not by specs but by appearance.
Worn cams usually look bad. The lobes are grooved, uneven and may have too much taper.
If the lobes and journals look reasonably smooth and uniform, imho you can just lightly polish them with fine emery cloth and re-use the cam with new lifters.
