Stratus check engine light from hell

I Have a 2001 Stratus 2.4L the check engine light came on. the code is a P1684. The car runs perfect but will not pass inspection because there is no data from the sensor stored in the computer. I had the light clear and it stayed cleared until I turned the car off. the next time I started the car the light came back on. I checked all fuses. I think the computer is dumping it memory???

Re: Stratus check engine light from hell

I wish it were that easy. I'm aware of the code meaning. I think the computer is losing power someway and that is why it does not keep the sensor info. i do not know how the computer gets power
