Re: 2000 blazer vibration problem

More info would help.
50-60 MPH vibertion is usually tires and wheels.
Have you got mud on wheels?
Slipped belt on tire?
Bent wheel?
Have you had tires balanced?

Inspect all front end parts, tie rod ends, ball joints, idler arm, etc.

What condition are the tires?

Check u joints on drive shafts.

Do you feel vibration on steering wheel or any where else?

Re: 2000 blazer vibration problem

Proper inspection and a good description and more information would help.

Has it been raised or lowered?
What all speed does it do it?
What speed does it do it more?
In 2W or 4W?
What all service work done?
Did it start all at one time?
Have you inspected U jounts and drive shafts?
Have you double checked tiresand wheels?
Does it do it on coast or pull or steady down the road?
Does turning wheel left or right when going down the road change noise?

50-60 MPH vibration is usually wheels and tires.

Have them double checked.

Re: 2000 blazer vibration problem

One good test is to jack it up put rear axel on stands and spin rear tires at 50-60.

If 4W do same with front end.

Re: 2000 blazer vibration problem

When my 2000 Blazer developed a bad front end vibration at about 50mph it turned out to be bad ball joints. First I balanced the wheels which helped (vibration then happened at a higher speed), but the problem didn't totally disappear until I replaced the upper and lower joints with some quality Moog parts. If your ball joints are original equipment (If they are riveted in place) they are probably on borrowed time anyway.

I did the ball joints and tie rod ends at the same time....steering wheel dosent shake...Its coming from the back...was thinking about tire rotation....
