should i get a 1995 S6 or get a 2.8 A4 Avant? The A4 will cost more manly because I will have to supercharge it to meet my needs, but it is a cool car there are lots to chose from, better gas milage then the S6, and nice safty. on the other hand i can get a S6 for cheaper and still have $$ to spend on RS2 mods, it is a classic rare car, okay safety, not to good with gas consumption, has higher miles when i will buy it around 77K, but all and all it is cool. But which is cooler, a PES supercharged A4 Avant, or a S6?

S6's are nice, and RS2's rule, but id go for the A4. 4 years younger, too important to overlook

Get the S6!!! The 20vT is a practically bulletproof engine. The 2.8 30v on the other hand, is a piece of junk.

At 77k though, you will need the following soon:

Waterpump, timing belt, front crankshaft seal, timing belt tensioner.

Possibly new accessory belts.

Possibly new vaccum lines.

Check out the power steering system for leaks.

i got the S6 just the other day, and don't regret it. i checked everything, the t-belt and the water pump were just changed at 60K which is the cycle time. The only reason i was considering the A4 wagon is because it is a wagon and they look good. also a S6 avant are hard to find. But i am fine with a S6 sedan espesialy sence it was cheap $$$ which makes me :sun:
