1991 Toyota Pickup V6

V6 has a hard time starting in the morning. Hold the key in 5 second burts and it usually take 2-3 time before it starts. Then it will putt putt for alittle while then idle fine. Where to Start?

Not sure on the V6 Eng. but on the 4 bangers their is an injector that is all alone that is used on start up until the Eng. is warmed up I would think Toyota uses something kinda similar on the V6 also.

the v6 engines also have a "cold start injector", (check for exsessive corrosion) try that, not too much at local auto store. Also dont crank on the engine if you need to drive it, spray quick start into the throttle body in open position, then start.
