My intrepid has about 105000 miles on it and I was not sure if it had its ATF flush service ever before. I just had a ATF Flush service at a shop and right after that, the transmission started acting weird. The shift change from 2nd to 3rd is really bumpy and sometimes takes a little time which never happened before. I went back to the shop and they rechecked the fluid level--- it was fine. I have driven it probably 200~300 miles after the service.

After checking all the information that I could possibly collect on internet, I found out that using Dexron for my car's transmission is really bad. After all, I found out that the shop put Valvoline MaxLife--- which contains Dexron and Mercon mixed up--- into my car. I really hope that the cause is it, and I will be doing the ATF flush at the Dodge Dealer asap and ask them to put Mopar ATF+4.

Are there any other possible cause for the problem?? Or are there anything else to do to solve this problem?? I'm really worried and hope it's not too late!
