94 SE-R steering problemrushindrifting 01-04-2009, 11:20 PM I have a 94 Nissan Sentra SE-R and about 2 weeks ago I was driving on the highway (70-80mph) and my steering wheel started to shake like my tire rod ends snapped or my wheel was about to fall off. I pulled over and checked over the whole car, wheels, all of the fluids and the power steering was a bit off. I tapped it and jumped in the car and took off without any problems. Yesterday I was driving up the hill (10-15mph) and the same thing happend but much worse this time I was sure something snapped. I got home jacked up my car checked over the whole thing and all of my my suspension is tight. Two hours later I took my car for a ride and no problems what so ever. Any ideas? I would appreciate any help. Thanks autoauto 02-12-2009, 11:22 PM With the description you gave, it is obvious that there is some problem with the steering system in your car. I would suggest to get the professional inspection done because it affect the safety big time. I own 2003 SER -SpecV and before that I owned 1991 Sentra, but I never had any such experience. Good luck to you friend. rushindrifting 04-04-2009, 01:43 PM Thanks for your help it was pinion on a steering rack i fixed it and while i was there i changed axles, tie rod ends inner and outer, ball joints and more. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
