I am looking at two status vehicles:

'05 Stratus SXT - 64K, ABS, Traction control, all power except seat, 2.7 V6 flex fuel, 15 hub caps

other

'04 Stratus (ES i think) - 57K, NO ABS, NO Traction control, all power (including seat), 16 inch alloy wheels, 2.7 V6

I think the dealer had it listed an an SE but with the 16 inch alloy wheels, power seat, and white faces gauges I am thinking it was an error and it is actually an ES. Anyone agree, disagree?

Any common problems with these vehicles, engines? There is aother one around with the i4 engine, but I have heard that the stratus with the 4 cylinder is under powered? Agree / disagree?

Anything else I should be concerned with or ask about?

Just not real familiar with these vehicles and trying to make sure I am making a good decision... Thanks for any help or input!

Stay away from both of them!The 2002 and up 2.7s are junk too.The 2.7 is known for eating up crankshafts,have a very weak bottom end and are known for sludge build up.Synthetic oil is recomended for the 2.7,Mobil 1 since it has sludge build up.
