We have 2005 equinox L S and have a clicking noise coming from under the dash drivers side. It sounds like a flasher/ blinker and gos off after about 5 minutes and comes back on sometimes. Any ideas before I rip the dash off. Thanks Jack

Did you put a remote starter in yours. Because we did and the security light was on because for some reason it messes it up when you install one. We brought it to a place and they installed a by pass module and they reset the computer. It was like a $130.00 tho! That fixed it. I think you are supposed to put this unit in from the begining of having a remote started put in. My daughter had one of her friends do it and they didn't put one in. Hope this helps you Jack

No, there are no aftermarket installs on this Equinox. I had to replace the EGR valve recently and subsequently had the PCM updated/reset. Hopefully the reset corrects the problem; I haven't heard it since. Thanks for the reply!

If you also heater or A/C problems, then
Sounds like typical temperature door has broken int your Chevy Equinox.
It is buried inside the dash. When it breaks, you have no heat. Not electrical or any other problem.
This repair takes a good 8 hours to replace the $30 door. Entire dash, carrier, and HVAC case has to come out and disasemble.
Also does this on the Pontiac Torrent.
