I have an old Chevy truck with lots and lots of miles. My problem is that there is a sort of buzzing coming from the dash and I can't figure out what is wrong with it. It sounds kind of mechanical. It is not the fan and it does this when stopped or driving slow. It speeds up with the rpms of the engine. I might me on the firewall but it sounds like it is coming from right behind the center of the dash when in the truck. Does not matter if it is in drive or park. Sometimes it gets really loud...other times it is a soft buzzing. Sometimes....It does not buzz at all. It is not driven much anymore but must last us another snowy Missouri winter so I need to figure out what is causing it.
Also, my abs light is staying on suddenly. I assume I will have to take it somewhere to have the codes read to figure out what is causing that?
