1998 Tahoe Fog Light Switch

I bought the delco fog light switch for my tahoe to give it the "factory" look. Problem is that I thought the wiring harness would be in the dash but I cannot find it. Making my own wiring connections is an option, but does anyone have the schematics for the switch? It wasn't cheap and I don't want to accidentally fry it. It is ACDelco part D7057A and GM Part # 15687022. Additional info - it has 5 pins that would accept a female connector. Thanks!

this is not to be screwed with.....this switch operates a RELAY the relay then controls the lamps...

If you want fog lts get a swtich that can handle 15amps and mount where you can toggle the fog lamps on /off.....use a fused feed to your switch and the feed should come off the ignition feed...ignition on ,,then feed on...that way you won't forget to toggle off....kill battery..

I use these fog lamps during snow storms [white outs] very effective...

Re: 1998 Tahoe Fog Light Switch

j cAT,

That being said, could I connect the factory fog light switch to a relay? My thinking is if I can figure out which of the 5 prongs on the switch are for the hot, ground and connection to the relay, I'd have it made.

Send me a PM (private message) with your e-mail address and I will try (key word is try) to send you a fog light wiring schematic out of my '98 factory manual.

Re: 1998 Tahoe Fog Light Switch

Thanks 777stickman. If I can get it to work, I'll post an update.
