No heat/fan stays on all the time

I have a '94 Taurus Wagon doing the same thing and I can't get any heat and I'm wondering if these problems are related. I've been through the flushing and clearing things and still no heat. I'm wondering how much water should come out of the heater hoses when I take one or both of them off. Seems like there is not water in the hoses. Car doesn't overheat and the thermostate seems OK.

Welcome to the forum!

Same thing as what?

Which fan runs all the time, the radiator cooling fan or the blower fan motor?

Was the heater control valve open when you were checking for flow through the heater hoses?
