Viper60014 08-11-2003, 10:49 PM Fugy, tell me how you would switch the AT for the MT anyways? You know how much custom fabrication it takes to do that? 94tegRS 08-12-2003, 03:11 AM I dont know about in a probe but in a honda none at all. Ive done one, and by the way this is the person whos username he posted under first, it wasnt my probe, and its sold anyways. It takes NO fabrication at all. Many people over at Probetalk have done it. It's a direct bolt on, You need more than just the transmission to do a swap, but it has been done many times. Viper60014 08-12-2003, 04:34 PM I know that, I am just talking about you have to install the clutch pedal, you have to put a new center console in with the shifter and stuff. You know what i am talking about. 94tegRS 08-12-2003, 08:42 PM well, thats not custom fabrication, and Im guessing the hole is there for the master cylinder already just plugged. Fabrication?!?!      Not at all... my probe was a 4cyl Automatic... its now a V6 5speed... probes and well... most cars are made to fit either/all engines and trannys for that model car.. you just have to get all the wiring harnesses and have plenty of time and patience. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
