1994 Dakota blows white smoke

I've got a 1994 Dodge Dakota that blows white smoke out of the tailpipe. When i put marvels mystery oil in it the smoke went away for a little while. It has a 3.9 V6 engine, the oil has been changed i bought it from a young guy i was wondering maybe he put something else in it. Maybe it can be the valve guides the compression is real good to all cylinders. Need some advice.
Thanks!!!

White smoke is antifreeze contamination in the cylinders, your truck is suffering from either a headgasket failure or a cracked head, sorry not better news

Re: 1994 Dakota blows white smoke

the white smoke is antifreeze contamination, if the vehicle smokes white, check to see if the smell is semi sweet, can open the radiator cap and see if they smell similar, not the same just close. Headgasket failure of cracked head most likely.

Re: 1994 Dakota blows white smoke

Would there be water in the oil? The anti-freeze in the radiator is still full. Is there anything else that i can check? I really appreciate the help, comparing the smell of the smoke from the tail pipe to the radiator i'm not quite sure if they a similiar. Please advise me, Thanks

How cold is it where you live? Are you sure it's not just condensation? If it doesn't smell sweet it's probably no prob. The colder it is out the longer it will blow out untill the engine and exhaust really heat up.
