Low Oil pressure, or bad gauges?

Hey there! I've got a 93 cutty supreme, with the 3.1L.

well recently i've noticed that my oil pressure has gone down a bit, the oil level is fine, everything seems fine, just slightly less, It's usually about 3/4 of the way towards H. just under the line, but recently its been more at the half-way point. I'm not to sure as to the reason, there is no difference in driveing, or anything else....

However! the other thing i noticed is my VOlt gauge doesnt usually read correctly, its usually a little lower, well recently i've been monitering my power with a digital meter while i'm driving, and i notice that when it is at 14v the gauge reads past 13 and the oil pressure is normal...but if i'm really runnin about 13.2-13.6v (wich is pretty much ALWAYS, I dont know if it's normal) the volt gauge shows just under 13, and the oil pressure is at the half way point, maybe a little bit over...then when i'm sitting at a light..the meter shows 12.4-12.8v and the volt gauge shows a lot under 13. and the oil pressure is just under half. (this is with lights on, and fog lights, with foot on break).

I guess what i'm really trying to say is...do i have an issue with my oil pressure, OR do i have a bad connection with my inst. panel.. Is there a connection i can check or clean up to see if it helps?

Get a mechanical gage on it and see, no other way to find out.

I'll probably get an after market gauge, as for the inst. panel...is there a ground wire and a positive wire somewhere, or is it all hidden within a large plug on the back of it

incase anyone is interested i managed to fix the problem. first off the problem was the oil pressure showing a lower then normal reading, and the water temp was high then normal. Also the voltage readings were pretty low, sometimes nowhere near 14. After checking all my connections i found that the ground cable connected from the battery to the body frame was simply loose at the frame, i took it off, cleaned it all up, and tightened it all back up, and its as good as new!
