2002 Elantra Auto Tranny Noise

Has anyone had this problem? Tranny makes rubbing noise in 1st and 2ed gear not so much in 3ed. Shop said it is the planetary gears rubbing the case. $2400 to Fix.

how much is yr milage? have u change yr auto tranmission fluid?
