ok i put new wires new cap and rotor new plugs new whole dist. it was cracked at the top where rotor set pluse you couldn't turn dist cap at all on dist.shaft so use heat and a air hamer with pickle work then it came out after about half hour. anyway starts fine in summer even in rain. but you let it come winter and rains or snows takes me 10 min to get it starter did put new coil on it from autozone other than the coil being a bad one. this one has me stumped?

Check fuel pressure.
Do the injector ohm test, cold and hot.
How does it idle when warm? Any loping idle?
Check timing too when warm.

Re: 91-s10

when i finaley get it started it idles high then as runs longer it drops down to normal. but after it warms up it runs fine.i'll tell you before i changed dist that was cracked, then i put new cap and rotor, plugs, wires i had to keep wire dry on it and it would start. thats why i'm thinking that coil i got from auto zone maybe has a exsposed place on it. i've had it for 6 years maybe it is time for fuel pump.

Why do you think fuel pump?

Fuel pressure test come out OK?
Static pressure - motor off.
Pressure at idle with vacuum off of FPR.
Pressure at idle with vacuum ON FPR.
Pedal down test - gauge taped to windshield - pedal down second gear checks for vacuum response in FPR for pump acceleration enrichment.
