I have a transmission leak at the front of the transmission, in the area where it connects to the engine. I'm told the transmission pump gasket is leaking and there is no way to fix the leak short of pulling the transmission.
I'm wondering if there's some way to fix a leak of this type without pulling the transmission?

First check and make sure where it is leaking.
Several things can look like a front pump leak.

Clean off all old oil.
Remove bottom convetor cover and.
And look for where the fluid is coming from
If front pump or seal or o ring is leaking it has to come out for repair.
Let us know what you find.
