dash lights may or may not come on at night making it difficult to say the least driving and knowing what speed your going? Anyone have a suggestion?

Is it just the instrumentation lights, or is it all the interior backlighting, such as the lights for the radio buttons and the climate control as well? If all the lights, then the issue may be with the dimmer switch. Make sure the dimmer switch is turned up.

The dimmer is turned all the way up, it's just the instrument panel, steering wheel lights all may or may not come on.
