1988 s-10 blazer high idel problem

it is ideling around 3000 rpm and smoking it has new iac,map,tps,and inition moduel. new tune up and valve seals the comprecion is averaging 145 psi I an stumped how do I fix this problem?

What engine?

For real high idle check gas linkage and vacuum leaks.
Also if a TBI pull it and replace base gasket.

My 2.8 was doing that, If thats what You have un-plugg the temp. sensor thats on the front of your intake, right in front of the TBI, if the idle drops its a bad temp sensor, replaced mine and it idles normal now
