Drivetrain Problems

I have a limited slip dif. If im on slipery blacktop thats wet and turning the drive wheel will turn and the other one will like jump like its tryin to lock in completely but it just keeps going bang bang bang. Itll work on dirt tho. Does this mean that the rear end is going bad or is it normal.

Re: Drivetrain Problems

Find out why ABS light was on.
How low was it?
Where is it leaking?
Are you using the right rear end grease?
Pull Inspection plate and check rear end.

Re: Drivetrain Problems

What about the abs light?
Yes that is normal.
Jacked up in neutral give the drive shaft a quick turn.
Both wheels should turn.
Also turn drive shaft back and forth and check for slack.
You need to pull inspection plate for a good look in there.
