Trip to Berlin fetching the X5

Hi guys ok here are the pics and a small story

Well it was a cold Saturday morning, me and my dad got up early at 4AM had a short breakfast and went to the airport with our 540.
During day when people go to work it takes you about 90 minutes to get there.
But on saturday mornigs streets are empty and we arrived after a new record of 31 minutes
We parked and checked in and got onto the plane.
After a drink of orange juice for me and a cofe for my dad we landed after 50 minutes in Berlin. We took a taxi driving to the car dealers home. He came out and after some small talk we drove 20 km through berlin to his showroom.
We arrived at about 8.30 and this is the first picture

Do you see the ferrari sign on the left next to the x5

Ok we got in and ...
and here are some pics of the other cars in his small showroom

other view: sorry a bit dark... bad flashlight

here the wheel and x5 ac schnitzer exhaust system on the right side

here you badly see again the ferrari 348 targa Mercedes ML 400 cdi (i think) and another range rover

and here it is outside

again...

and again

We left the dealer and the first thing was to look for gas
90litre... quite empty... tank has 93 litre...
ok we drove through berlin and we passed the "Brandenburger Tor"

driving home on the autobahn to munich (München )

after a nice lunch and some breaks we arrived at home at 17.30 after driving 650 KM well i drove 500 and my dad 150

another one in front of the garage

and here my 2 dogs

ok the trip was very nice and i´m very happy with the car.
the paint is in very good condition. but the right wheels have some small scratches but really only small ones. and only 2 very very very small stone chips on the motor hood.
we mostly drove about 150 kmh and well 10 litre diesel for 100km that´s ok! the automatic switches to 5th gear at about 160 and the acceleration well... i once arrived the 200kmh topspeed but after a kickdown of 5 min you feel the 2.2 tons and bad aerodynamic. but for cruising it´s quite nice

alltoghether a nice car

more pics follow later! maybe in about 6 hours

well you cannot see the colour exactly in the fotos
in real it´s much more clearer nicer and well more alive
the real colour you can see best on the first 2-3 pics
it´s quite darker than on the pics of the x5 outside in front of the dealership...
i´ll take a ride now

VERY NICE, you said the X5 is a 3.0 diesel thoguh right? Or is it 3.0 gas? Correct me if I'm wrong but those look like 4.4i rims on there.

You're awesome, three bimmers on the driveway, you don't get much more loyal than that.

porsche,
there are and will be some mods done

it already has a sportspackage (sportspackage includes these wheels also on 3.0, 3,0d and 4.4)
the exhaust system looks like the exhaust from 4.6iS but it is an aftermarket ac-schnitzer exhaust system with really nice sound (not to loud!!!)

the grating on the front is still the black one but we will put the chrome on from 4.4 or 4.6iS onto so it looks much nicer!
and a chip-tuning ... about 225 PS instead of 184 and 480nm instead of 410. for about 800€

and thanks texas and porsche for your congrats :flash:
tomorrow i´ll go to shcool with it...

Ya, I really like the exhaust. I didn't know that the rims were interchangable like that though. Still cool all the same. Hopefulyl nobody will key it at school!

well nobody keyed it...
we have some assholes who sometimes make ditches and open doors uncarefully.. but last time everythjing was fine!
we also have many other "good cars" like 3 porsche boxster and a carrera and some z3...
it´s a school where the pupils drive the better cars than the teachers
and you sometimes feel the envy of other pupils...
but that´s life

here in germany, as you know we have many nice cars like bmw audi porsche... but we also have lamborghini´s and ferrari´s but if you drive a lamborghini i heard from some friends they are getting wordly attacked and spit...
why do people do that?
in america driving a lamborghini.. then all people love you... here all people hate you...

Well maybe its becaue you have German manufacturers and you are not bieng faithful to your country, buying a Porsche Turbo or BMW Z8? but then Ferrari owners would be attacked as well.

Glad you finally took possesion of the X5. It looks great, im guessing from some of your comments about scrapes on the wheel that it is used, how many miles or I guess since your in Germany, kilometers? Oh yea and your dogs are cool.

yea it is used
the wife of the bmw dealer (there is only 1 official in berlin) had it for 5 month
it has 17100 km when we got it.
now it has about 18400

the scratches on the wheels are very small.
there is always much brake dust on the wheels of all x5 so you don´t see them.

i have many more pics on my computer but i´n to lazy to upload them
...
later maybe
