ZJB-400 09-25-2008, 07:27 PM 2002 Sonoma 4x4 When the heater is on (full heat) defog, the compressor for my air conditioner kicks in. I s this normal? old_master 09-25-2008, 08:59 PM The compressor clutch is energized in all 3 A/C modes and also DEFROST. With the compressor on, dehumidified air defogs the windshield faster.
