My gagues will go on and off. The other day they flickered violently. Now the battery runs down. I changed the batteryand alternator and it still just runs at 12 volts. It seems that it will not charge like it should it should jump to 13.4 to 15 but when i turn things on it runs the battery down. When not running the battery will gharge itself up to 12 volts. does anyone know what it could be. I'm beginning to think it's the computer...Please help!!!!!!:frown:

You have:
1. A bad battery or
2. A bad alternator or
3. A bad ground (corrosion, heavy or light; a loose connector) at the battery terminals or
4. Any combination of the above.

Fluctuating/sweeping gauges are almost always an indicator of charging system/battery problems.

I seriously doubt it is the PCM (computer)
Check and repair the items listed and that should solve your problem.
