Help please, 98 weird battery issues

Ok well to start I had the Battery replaced about 6 months ago. After that every once in a while the battery light comes on. So I turn the car off at a stop light and re-start and it's gone. Now my wife was driving and the light came on, she did the same thing. This time the car didn't start. Then all of a sudden the power came back and it was fine. The same thing happened to me. I left my parents house stopped at Hess, and went to start the car and it made a short relay clicking noise then no power. I tried turning on the dome light and nothing. About 5 mins went by and the dome light all of a sudden came on. The car started and ran fine. Any ideas you guys have would be some great help. Thanks again.

Re: Help please, 98 weird battery issues

I wonder if there could be a loose connection somewhere or possibly a short in the wiring. Sorry I don't have any better advice. I wonder why no one else bothered to answer this.
