I have an Accent 95. I just buy it. When I forget to turn off the parking light and I open the door, there is no chime sound that remind me to turn it off.

It is a problem on this car, or all the 95-05 accent are built like this?
It happens with your Hyndai Accent also?

Yesterday, the parking lights was lighted all the afternoon. I'm afraid to loose my battery one day.

Don't own one so I can't tell you for sure. Does the chime work when your door is open and the keys are in the ignition? Does it ever chime? You mentioned that it didn't chime when you left the parking lights on. . . Does it chime when the headlights are left on?

Yes, it chimes when I forget the key or when I forget to put the belt.

When the headlight is on, it doesn't chime.
