99' GCL center console lights

In driving at night, the light(s) have gone dark, so that I can no longer see what drive gear I'm in, or need to take a guess. I'm assuming there's a bulb inside the console.

I don't see the whereabouts to pull or take the console out and check for a burnt bulb, I already checked the fuse box and everything seemed okay.

It's not a bulb, it's a non-serviceable luminescent light strip. The console shift assembly module needs to be replaced.
Remove the center console then pull the shift assembly apart.
You can check the strip and connectors - if you find a crack it may be repairable.
