My son hit a curb and bent a rim. I'm looking for a replacement, but was asked what the rim width was. I don't know and don't know how to find out with demounting a tire and measuring. The tire size is 185/65R14.

How can I determine the proper wheel size?

It's easier to just take the wheel off the car and get an exact match at the scrap yard.
