94 Camry engine stalls/dies during start up

So sometimes when I start up my car i can feel the engine struggling to survive and I have to put some gas in it for a couple minutes to make sure it revs up to par.

Any idea whats going on?

Spark plugs?

I really have no idea.

Sounds like a good old tune up is in order. Clean the cap & rotor contacts, check/clean/gap or replace the spark plugs, clean the PCV and EGR valves, and check the engine timing and idle. A seafoam treatment wouldn't hurt either. Once all this is finished, I think you'll have a much smoother idle.

If the "tune up" doesn't do it, look towards the Idle Air Control valve.

I have to agree with RIP. I would suggest cleaning the throttle body and the idle air control valve.

Also, it would be helpful if the original posted told us the current mileage and what if any maintenance the car has had. We all may be suggesting things that have already been done.
