Unhappy 91 mr2 turbo starts and dies

I have a 91 turbo that I hold dear to my heart but, every time I try to give her some love she pushes me away. I noticed that I had a build up of oil on the valve cover only. So I replaced the gaskets and grommets. After doing so I jumped into the drivers seat for alittle reward for all of my hard work. Low and behold the car started up no problem... the about 5 seconds started to sputter and died. I figured that some oil might of got into the cylinders during the gasket replacement but, "she" is still mad at me for some reason. The check engine light is now "on". I had replaced all of the ignition components about a month ago, all but the ignition module, yes I also replaced the coil and the ignition module in the fuse box.

I need some help.
