is there more than one speed sensor on a 92 accord? where is the vehicle speed sensor(s) located?

The vehicle speed sensor is located in the transaxle case, directly inboard and above where the passenger's side CV axle goes into the case. You can see it from the top if you are looking the right way through all the crap between it and you.

Some have an input speed sensor that gets a reading directly off the driven side of the torque convertor or input shaft, but I don't know if yours has that or where it would be...probably in the top of the tranny case, like below the distributor would be my guess...

The VSS looks like this...

Also I said below the distributor...forgot you've got shift solenoids in that area...don't mess with them...

Trying to find out more about an input speed sensor on yours...

If this is correct, and it's the same on your year, there's a bunch of speed sensors...

the locations are a bit strange, since they "ghosted" them through what's in the way...the one pointing to the VSS is the one I was talking about...in this pic it looks like it's under the distributor, but it's actually farther back...
