Squeaky noiseulonggapo 08-13-2008, 03:27 PM I got a 95 Pathfinder SE 4x4 and I noticed that every summer I always get this squeaky noise whenever I'm slowing down or starting to move. Once I get my speed up, I don't hear the noise anymore. It sounds like its coming from the wheels. At first I thought it was the alternator, but it doesn't make the sound when the vehicle is completely stopped. I tried reving the engine to see if it will do it and it doesn't. Has anybody had this problem before? Hungrycat7 08-13-2008, 04:02 PM Sounds like some worn or dirty brake pads to me P51nerd 08-13-2008, 04:47 PM could be a bad wheel bearing... but Im no expert... if it were breaks you should only hear it durring breaking or on turns... RaeRae1 08-14-2008, 10:59 AM I think brakes as well. They can squeek when not in use. Not quite sure why. Mine do that on the Sentra. It seems to be a chronic problem. It doesn't harm anything, it is just annoying. Does the noise go away when you apply the brakes? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
