The procedure for the 5S-FE engine is described in the FAQ thread. You may also download the '94 Toyota FSM from the linked site in the sticky post at the top of this forum.
The timing marks are on the engine and not on the replacement belt. There are no direction arrows on most belts. You should place a direction arrow and timing marks on on a belt that you will reuse.
If you haven't removed the old belt yet, mark the pulleys and old belt for indexing and then transfer the marks on the old belt to the new one - I count teeth on the belts as a reference.
