Cool 1990 beretta GTZ stalls and wont start

My 1990 Beretta Gtz which i have owned right off the truck in 1990. Has all of a sudden started to stall and wont turn over. I leave it for 1-2 hrs go back to it and it starts. Just before it stalls it gives a hesitation and then stalls. Any ideas where to start?
