Please help! I have recently purchases a new 08 cx-7. I immediately noticed by brakes felt funny and alerted the dealer. The told me this is normal from the car sitting on the lot. This seems crazy to me that rotors would warp from sitting on a lot? Also, the exhaust seem rusty and worn for being a brand new car, the dealer said normal wear and tear....seems crazy to me! HELP! Any opinions?

Warped rotors is not normal, they will not warp from sitting on a lot. Don't know about the exhaust, if the car has been driven on some salty roads or lots of wet roads some exhaust system may be normal. Surface rust will not affect the operation of the exhaust, however it will shorten the life of the parts. FWIW, my protoge 5 has a rusty exhaust from a trip in the snow in 2003 and the exhaust is still functioning and not rusted out.
