5.9 diesel oil leak at breather

I have an '02 Ram that is leaking oil from the breather tube end that is located on the front of the engine down by the crank balancer.
There seems to be some sort of filter on the end of the tube and the oil is coming out of that.
This truck has 45k miles on it and has been well taken care of and it runs perfect. But it started leaking oil about 3 days ago.

I remmeber some years ago a guy tell me something about that tube and what he did to it to make his work better than the factory one.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

It's out of warranty and I want to fix it myself.
Thank in advance.
